POR Campania FESR 2014-2020

The POR Campania FESR 2014-2020 is the reference framework for the use of the resources of the European Regional Development Fund in Campania. The Regional Operational Program (POR) provides a total financial allocation of €4,113,545,843 and is developed along 11 Axes, with resources allocated to 9 of the 11 thematic objectives identified by the “Europe 2020″ strategy, divided into 46 specific objectives (Expected Results ) for a total of 75 shares.
The Community Regulation which identifies the provisions common to all European structural and investment funds (ESIF), n. 1303/13, in fact, establishes the obligation for the beneficiaries of the funding to highlight the support received from the European Union in the implementation of the co-financed projects.
This obligation is detailed in specific communications by the beneficiaries, both through their website and through panels, plaques and posters to be displayed at the infrastructures built or under construction.
Compagnia Marittima Meridionale srl participated in the PUBLIC NOTICE better known as:
“Support measure for MSMEs in the Campania tourism system affected by the crisis generated by COVID
which is based on the measures of the POR CAMPANIA FESR 2014 – 2020”.

SNC, VAT number 0028500633 Telephone 081 5527219, PEC address CMMNA@PEC.IT Email cinzia.improta@cmmna.it, in relation to the project prot. n. 5283 of 01/10/2021 – was admitted to the benefits referred to in the Public Notice Measure to support MSMEs in the Campania tourism system affected by the crisis generated by COVID 19 with Decree granting relief no. 786 of 7/11/2022 by the Campania Region, General Directorate for Cultural Policies and Tourism, for a contribution amount of Euro 168,290.00 against a total investment of €310.938,81.

Project description
The investment project achieves the objective of innovating and integrating the usability of its additional services, as well as optimizing the management of the safety and health of the places, with the creation of alternative routes, the removal of architectural barriers through the creation of an new lift system, ramp and toilet services dedicated to PRMs, thus achieving a plurality of objectives as well as greater compliance with current regulations.
To complete the company objectives there is the creation of combined conference rooms, with high technological support, also in order to shorten post-covid recovery times; and in fact the rooms are equipped with technological sanitization equipment; Multimedia digital equipment; Furnishings and installation of acoustic panels to improve soundproofing; Energy saving lighting setup; Access Controls (video surveillance). Finally, the Website with the Virtual Tour complete the innovative elements proposed in the project.

This project is co-financed by the European Union, the Italian State and the Campania Region as part of the POR Campania FERS 2014 – 2020.

Objectives
The objectives pursued by the Company’s Management – highlighted in part in the previous paragraph – can be summarized here in:

  • Reduction of architectural barriers;
  • Improvement of energy efficiency;
  • Purchase of equipment to be used for anti-Covid – 19 purposes;
  • Improvement of the quality and diversification of the service offering through the setting up of combined conference rooms with high technological support and the Website with Virtual Tour, which complete the innovative elements.

Results
The results expected from the investment program, in relation to the objectives and interventions mentioned above, all achieved by the end of the 2023 calendar year, are certainly to be related to the up-grade of the structure, which will not only see better its competitiveness on the reference market will be qualified but, jointly, it will offer an increase in the quality of tourist services.
The investment program will also translate into a strengthening of the economic-financial structure, thanks to the leverage of greater revenues relating to the increase in services and turnover and the higher quality standards relating to the offer of new services aimed at users of the Structure, as well as travelers and tourists transiting through the Port of Naples.
